Run by Teacher Yu, with over 20 years of teaching experience in New Zealand. Students regularly win awards in international competitions. Recent achievements include Silver in the Italy Da Vinci International Painting Competition (Nov 2025); National Silver (Adult) in the NZ Best Design Award (Oct 2025); Gold in the UK Victoria International Painting Competition Finals (2025); and in the 2019 Forest magazine international competition, 14 works were shortlisted as finalists, with multiple category winners. Comprehensive programmes for all ages and levels: Early Childhood (4-5, beginners); Children's Basic Drawing (4.5+); Sketching (9+); Gouache (8+); Oil Painting (11+); Manga/Marker Pen Drawing (9+); Landscape Sketching (11+); and Marker Pen for Architecture/Interior/Exterior Design Portfolio (13+ and adults), preparing for design studies. Term 1 2026 starts 29 January. Thursdays & Fridays 15:15-16:30; Saturdays 9:00-16:00 by time slots. 1.5 hours per class, 10 weeks per term. Free 1-hour trial lesson available.
