Guitar Strumming & Fingerstyle Course

Taught by a University of Auckland music postgraduate with two years' professional guitar teaching experience, systematic community music training, and a Christchurch Symphony Orchestra internship—strong theoretical foundation and teaching expertise. Comprehensive content: zero-basics entry, folk strumming, fingerstyle guitar, basic music theory and rhythm, repertoire practice and technique, plus guitar arranging and simple composition. Teaching is personalised to age, level, and goals—avoiding mechanical chord drills and rote memorisation, focusing on understanding rhythm, harmony, and melody logic to develop musical expression.
