Sunshine Chinese School (NZ) - Awarded Best Community Chinese School by the University of Auckland Confucius Institute

Sunshine Chinese School (NZ) is a registered community school. Since its founding in 2003, we have taught over 1,000 students across 23 years of operation. Our experienced teachers have achieved outstanding results, regularly preparing students for HSK exams and Chinese Week events organised by the University of Auckland Confucius Institute. Our students have excelled in activities such as the 'Root Seeking Journey', online summer camps, and Chinese knowledge competitions organised by the China Overseas Exchange Federation and the Chinese Language Education Foundation. In 2024, the school was named 'Best Community Chinese School' and received the 'Chinese Teaching Achievement Award' from the Confucius Institute and the Chinese Department at the University of Auckland, presented by the Chinese Consul General in Auckland. The school has also been recognised as an 'Excellent Chinese Language Education School' by the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland and featured by local Chinese media. Notably, many of our outstanding graduates have achieved excellent results in the HSK Level 6 exam and successfully gained admission to top Chinese universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Fudan University. We are dedicated to Chinese language education and cultural dissemination for overseas Chinese youth, helping children build cultural identity and belonging while learning the language.
