Silver Ferns Education Volunteer Programme

A free educational programme for children aged 6-12, initiated by Silver Ferns Social Services Community, located in Wairau Valley on the North Shore. Offers diverse fun classes covering science, art, humanities, nature, Chinese, maths and more, designed to spark curiosity and enthusiasm through interactive methods. Activities include simple drawing, storytelling, Chinese/English/maths, martial arts, taekwondo, dance, and more. Delivered through interactive games and crafts. Our teachers are passionate educators with expertise in their fields. The programme provides holistic learning and develops imagination and expression in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. Volunteers receive a volunteer certificate, community service hours recognition and employment reference letters—a great opportunity to gain teaching experience and communication skills.
