Chinese Wonderland: School Preparation Programme (Age 4-6)

A Chinese introductory programme designed for children aged 4-6, creating an immersive learning environment in New Zealand libraries. Uses a unique "Classical Learning + Modern Chinese" dual-track approach, integrating classic recitation, Tang poetry appreciation, Chinese songs, and more to help children build Chinese foundations through fun activities. Comprehensive curriculum with clear goals: recognize 1500 characters in 2 years, master 4 classic readers, 20 Tang poems, 20 Chinese songs, and 100 common idioms—preparing children to read Chinese primary school textbooks. Scientific and efficient classroom structure: 60 minutes divided into four sections—20 minutes of classic reading for language foundation, 20 minutes of modern Chinese with NZ primary readers to build reading skills, 10 minutes of Tang poetry for literary appreciation, and 10 minutes of Chinese songs to spark interest. Well-paced sessions maintain high focus and learning efficiency. Offers beginner/advanced group classes and 1-on-1 personalised tuition to meet different learning needs.
